Description

Katha powder (from Acacia catechu) has many traditional uses.Katha powder is valued as an astringent, cooling, and antimicrobial remedy in Ayurveda. It’s used to soothe sore throats and coughs, help with gum problems and mouth ulcers, relieve digestive issues like diarrhea, dysentery, acidity or bloating, and reduce inflammation of skin wounds, boils, or ulcers. It’s also used in oral hygiene (mouth rinses, toothpaste) and hair care (for scalp health, shine, mixing with henna) and sometimes as a natural dye or coloring agent.
