Description
Shankupushpam, also known as butterfly pea flower, is an edible flower used to make herbal tea. The tea is naturally blue, caffeine-free, and rich in antioxidants. Adding acidic ingredients like lemon juice causes the tea to change color, often to purple or pink. In Ayurveda, it’s believed to boost brain function and relieve stress. To prepare, dried flowers are steeped in hot water for a few minutes.
